What experts say

Dr. Heleen Kibbelaar, an expert in Nanomaterials Science, holds a PhD from the University of Amsterdam, where she specialized in complex fluid systems like shampoo, creams, and ointments. She’s a ‘no-nonsense’ expert with a passion for demystifying the science behind cosmetics, as seen in her popular blog series #sciencemeetscosmetics, followed by over 112,000 readers.

We had the pleasure of inviting Dr. Kibbelaar to our factory, where she explored our production processes and explained our innovative product based on nanotechnology. Clinically proven by independent laboratory Dermatest, this mask reduces wrinkle depth by 23.75% in just 4 weeks.

Skin tolerability
The test product Nanofibrous eye strip was applied once daily to the eye area of one half of the face by 20 volunteers over a period of four weeks. The other half of the face remained untreated. From a clinical-dermatological point of view, there were no relevant skin reactions in the test area, and the product was very well tolerated. Neither intolerance reactions in the sense of irritation nor allergic reactions (contact dermatitis) were observed.

Efficacy
The efficacy of the test product Nanofibrous eye strip in terms of skin elasticity was determined using Cu-tometer MPA 580 (Courage + Khazaka electronic GmbH). An increase in skin elasticity of 6.26% (± 6.01 StabW.) was shown in the test area of the treated half of the face. The change in skin elasticity in the test area of the untreated half of the face was -1.91% (± 7.96 std.), and in the control area of the forearm -0.13% (± 3.64 std.).

The efficacy of the test product Nanofibrous eye strip in terms of single wrinkle depth was determined using optical 3D in vivo skin measurement PRIMOS (PRIMOS CR, Canfield Scientific, Inc.). An improvement of the single wrinkle depth of -23.75% (± 8.0 StabW.) in the test area of the treated half of the face was shown. The change in single wrinkle depth in the test area of the untreated half of the face was -2.71 % (± 5.0 StabW.).
